Hi! I'm Rebecca...
... a qualified therapist with over 450 hours of trauma informed counselling experience. I offer compassionate support via online sessions to help you process your experiences safely and at your own pace. I am LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse affirming, meaning I welcome everyone with warmth and unconditional acceptance.

Why Therapy?
Therapy offers you a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours with a qualified professional. You don't have to go through things alone. I am here to support you in understanding yourself and your patterns, cope with difficult feelings or stress, improve your communication and relationships and build your self-esteem and confidence.
"Working with Rebecca has been extremely helpful. She has been compassionate with managing my anxiety, I have had a fully supported journey so far and I am very grateful for Rebecca for guiding me through." - Client X
"I am really enjoying my sessions with Rebecca & have found her very approachable & easy to talk to. She listens to things I don't even know I am saying let alone thinking & am learning more about myself & my past than I ever thought possible. I will continue my weekly sessions & would recommend her to anyone looking for therapy." - Client Z
Expertise & Experience
I have been working as a counsellor for adults and young people (11+) for several years, both online and face to face. I have supported clients with a range of issues including trauma, family issues, depression, low self-esteem, stress & anxiety, attachment, relationship challenges and more. Below are my particular areas of expertise:
Trauma Informed Therapy
I am trained and specialise in trauma informed therapy, with over 450 hours of client work with individuals who have encountered trauma in their past, particularly sexual assault and rape.
It can be hard to tackle these topics in therapy, but I offer a safe and compassionate space for you to discuss at your own pace, if and when you choose to.
LGBTQ+ & Neurodiverse Affirming
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I know how hard it can be to feel safe whilst reaching out to a counsellor for support. Please know that all are welcomed with kindness and unconditional acceptance.
I have training in, alongside a lot experience working with, neurodiverse clients. I will always offer you respect and empathy alongside working in a way to best suit your needs. The space is yours, we will tailor it together to work for you.
Self-Worth & Anxiety
I am passionate about supporting people in identifying their thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to low self-esteem and anxiety. By offering a non-judgemental space, I provide the opportunity for self-exploration, understanding and empathy. Together, we can work to challenge some of these thoughts, feelings and beliefs, replacing them with a more balanced and compassionate perspective.
Creative Therapies
My space offers the opportunity to explore creative therapy techniques if you'd like; meaning we can use art, drama or music in your session.
Research shows that using creativity in therapy can be especially supportive for neurodivergent individuals, people who have experienced trauma and those who have found traditional talking therapies difficult to engage with.
I also offer Roleplay game (or RPG) therapy, which uses storytelling to enable clients to safely explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Click here to find out more.
